Senior Nutrition

To ensure the health and safety of our senior citizens, ALL of the Community Action Senior Dining Sites will be closed for in-house dining effective March 17th.  Now offering "Grab n' Go" call for sites and details.  


The Village Table will be open for take-out only. 


Seniors who regularly attend one of our Senior Dining Sites will be contacted to arrange to have their meals delivered to their homes by Community Action Meals on Wheels.

Home Visiting

To ensure the safety of all of our families and their young children,  Community Action is once again offering In-Home Visits through Help Me Grow and MIECHV if desired.  Home Vistors will be contacting families to determine if in-home visits will begin or staff can continue conducting activities over the phone... or outdoor visits weather permitting and family approval.  Arrangements for resources and supplies will be coordinated during the call.

Head Start

Following Governor MIke DeWine's guidelines,  our Head Start classes are underway.  Classes are offered in our classrooms or in-home.  We have spaces available if you would like to enroll your child.

Women, Infants and Children

WIC is open. We can do appointments in clinic or from our parking lot. Remain in your car, please call from the parking lot. Infants under the age of 1 do not need to be present. Please continue to check for updates as things may change. Thank you!

Our Energy Assistance office is open.  The requirement for a face-to-face interview has been suspended at this time. Applicants can provide their required documents through several different options and then complete the application via phone interview.  Households must still make an appointment via the automated appointment line at 1-440-381-8230 or online at

R Rules & Workshops

To ensure the health and safety of all citizens, ALL in-person Empowerment Workshops have been cancelled.  


When it is safe, we will resume our in-person workshops as well activities at Pine Terrace and Majors Crossing.  If residents have any needs they can call 2-1-1 and speak with staff for referrals and resources.
